Quote of the Week:

"I have a question for you. What do you do when there is an evil you cannot defeat by just means? Do you stain your hands with evil to destroy evil, or do you remain steadfastly just and righteous even if it means surrendering to evil?" - Lelouch Lamperouge, Code Geass

About

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name, as this whole thing suggests, is the "Irrational Nerd”.

This blog’s aims are as stated here:

1) To talk about my interests, namely anime, manga and gaming.
2) To further train in the use of the English written word and
3)  To comment on serious every day matters.

Yes, I am a fan of both anime and manga, as well as the general Japanese culture. I am doing my best in learning how to speak Japanese (found some programs that help) in hopes of some day visiting Japan. I will be talking about my favorite anime and manga as well as provide reviews about a) works of the past that I still think they are awesome and b) works of the present that caught my eye.  While I will try to be as objective as I can,  at times I might not be able to help it, so I will ask you to forgive any swearing that occurs.

I am an avid gamer, playing whatever game comes to my possession not worrying about the part of my soul I am about to sacrifice while playing it (when it is a bad game; looking at you, Conan T_T ). There are only a few games I have never completed; they were too much for my innocent soul. I will occasionally talk about games, gaming news and express ideas concerning the market. Currently though, I am trying to find time to get better at StarCraft 2.

While I do not usually show it, I have a serious side as well. I am deeply concerned about where the world is going, where my country is heading (or, more correctly, where the corrupt politicians slash pigs of my country are taking it and how no one around seems to give a crap) and why no one does anything. I guess if you decide to stop by this nerd’s blog, you will have to get used to my occasional “real world” rants.

So, you got outside the INcave. Push the big boulder aside and come on in. Make yourselves at home :D

Thanks,
IN.
